Project I: Famous Architect's Building

The objective in this module are to introduce the building materials, its properties and application as well as to provide a basic understanding of construction process. Basically, there are 2 projects included to test our understanding regarding the materiality and detailing parts.

REFLECTION

I would like express my gratitude towards Mr. Koh Jing Hao, my lecturer and tutor who always gave us clear instruction and led us to produce better work result in every tutorial session. I really enjoy the learning journey throughout this whole module as I learned a lot of knowledge about Asian Architecture which are closely related to my surrounding. However, it would be much more awesome if I could have physical site visit with my friends at those heritage site.

REFLECTION

Thanks to Mr.Azim, my lecturer and tutor who always make our learning session to have more fun. He always ensures that nobody is left out and keep everyone engaged by asking us questions. This module has taught me about the basic construction process and methods, knowing how to identify each parts of the building. I have applied the knowledge I gained from this module on my studio projects, starting to design my structure in a more practical way.
