Architectural Design I
Architectural Design I (ARC60208) is one of the core modules in semester 1, also acts as an introduction to design studio. The learning outcome of this module is to explore how the self-body can be related to the space and to research about ergonomics, anthropometrics, tectonics. Basically, there are 3 projects to determine our learning outcomes which are "Models and Tattoos", "Tectonics" and "Interpretation and Representation".
REFLECTION
Firstly, I would like to thank Mr.Fadzlee and my fellow friends who indeed give me a lot of help and support in completing this whole module. The most important thing I have learned from this module is to go through a proper design process so that I can generate my ideas and further develop it on the right track. Next, I realised that I have improved my workmanship along from Project I until Project III. It was quite challenging for me to maintain a good workmanship at the beginning as it was my first approach to model making. Nonetheless, I told myself that I have to strive it as this is much more simpler compared to the construction workmanship in real life. Lastly, I found out that a good design is to be incorporated with a good narrative that is relatable to each part of the structure & space.
