Design Communication
Design Communication (ARC 62404) covers the fundamental skill for communication of architectural design. It involves a lot of hands-on exercises to equip students with the skills of construction drawings. The module learning outcome is to express space in the form of free hand drawing, interpret visual information and produce presentation board.
LEARNING EXPERIENCE

I had tutorial sessions with my tutor every week through zoom meeting to show my work progress and to get constructive feedbacks. I found it was quite difficult to show the drawing details and workmanship of model as it was conducted fully online. However, my tutor, Ms Carol is helpful enough to share her expertise and working experience about practical building knowledge. I really appreciate it as the theory that I have learned from books might not work in reality.
REFLECTION
I think this module did assist me tremendously for the presentation drawings in Architectural Design I as I have learned how to layout those drawings in a more matured manner. In addition, all those tutorial exercises helped to enhance my usage of various colouring media and techniques. The whole learning journey was fun but unfortunately I couldn't attend face-to-face class to meet my friends. Lastly, I found that design itself is important but the communication of design is also important in order ton delivery the ideas and information clearly.
