Project 1 : Movie Poster
The first project is producing a movie poster with a storyline. It aims to develop freehand drawing skill and the watercolouring skill acquired from previous exercises. With the assistance from my dear tutor, I got some useful comments: rearrange the orientation of poster components with title, man-made elements, nature elements & figure drawings included to improve visualisation. The selection of a right colour palette must be concerned so that it matches with the movie theme and capture the viewers' interest.
Final Poster
The Ariel
Ariel is a mythical character, who encompasses two soul within a body. As the sun shines upon her, Ariel becomes an angel, growing a pair of magnificent wings on her back; As the moonlight shines upon her, Ariel becomes a mermaid, with tails filled with glowing vibrant scales. As an angel she will transform into a mermaid everytime the magical ferriswheel completes one cycle. This movie depicts her life in both the heaven and the underwater world.
