Project III: Tropical Solitary Heaven
In this project, we are required to design a solitary heaven for 2 users and it must correspond to the immediate site context. Before starting to explore the form, we have to conduct site analysis in a groupwork. Design should be made with architectural principles, materiality, context and user taking into consideration. We have to attend 3 workshops and produce respective drawinngs to prepare us for final submission.

REFLECTION
I really enjoy the design thinking process throughout this project as I have tried a lot of development models with different forms. Each stage of development was a new idea exploration for me, which I had found a lot of interesting precedent studies that I have never thought that buildings can be built in such way. Besides, I felt glad to have senior sharing session during every workshop to get beneficial advices from them. My tutor make me realized that design shouldn't be something too literal as I was too stubborn on crafting the butterfly shape at earlier stages. Then, she inspired me to further explore the spatial experience and how does the characteristics of butterfly can be applied on my building. For example, the transparency of butterfly wings can be seen in the application of glass in the Butterfly House. Lastly, I have also learned that a good design will always make the building as a compliment to the nature environment.
